Long Story Short: American Literary Fiction

A Long Story Short is a collection of spirited, humorous, and sometimes scary writings. Whether it be a declaration of love, inappropriate cleavage, family ties, sex in the sixties, an embarrassing moment, a headstrong child, Tijuana contraband, or a phone call from the Devil--there’s always a surprise twist you won’t see coming. Though mostly fictional, there is always a certain amount (if not a lot) of truth in fiction...you be the judge.Kathleen T. Hiatt has received multiple awards for her short stories and is the recipient of the California Writer's prestigious 2019 Jack London Award. Her works have appeared in numerous anthologies, short story books, and five consecutive CWC editions of the California Literary Review. ENJOY!
