There are fifty-two essays - one for each week of the year, and seven - one for each day of the week - "Bents of Mind."They are part of the fruit of my studies in psychology, but I have been inclined rather to hide their origin and to immerse them in an atmosphere of the world of affairs, into which we are, most of us, plunged. They are written in a somewhat didactic manner, because I had in view young, fresh minds, responsive to stimulation.
