Brotherhood played in an expressive manner tbe solo part in two movements from de Beriot's seventh concerto for violin and orchestra, and Mr. S. Faulks showed promising executive ability in a violin concerto by Leonard. The vocalists were Miss B. Aoworth, Miss J. Bridges, and Mr. Attersoll, of whom the second-named was the most successful. The orchestral works inoluded Bennett's " Parisha " overture, Nos. 2 and 3 of Grieg's Norwegian dances, and Nioolai's overture to " The Merry Wives of Windsor." Mr. F. Corder conducted, and Mr. A. W.
