- Same earning structure, different entry point. Direct Insider ($9.99/mo) is for anyone — no TaskTroll subscription required. Insider Add-On ($6.99/mo) is for people who already pay for a TaskTroll Family or Co-Parent plan and want to add affiliate earnings to their existing account.
- How long until I get paid?
- Monthly, after a 30-day refund-protection window on each new sale. So a sale on March 1 pays out around April 5.
- What if I don’t hit the $10 monthly minimum?
- Your balance rolls forward to the next month. There’s no expiration; you’ll get paid whenever the rolling total crosses $10.
- Do I need to fill out tax forms?
- Stripe collects a W-9 (for individuals) or W-9 with EIN (for organizations) once during signup. They mail you a 1099-K at year-end if your earnings cross the IRS threshold ($600 starting tax year 2026). You don’t manually file anything for the platform.
- Can a single supporter trigger payouts on both products?
- Yes. If they buy TaskTroll Family ($2.50 to you) and a PassMyDMV per-state license ($2.50 to you), you get both — credited from the same code on both purchases.
- Is there a cap on earnings?
- No cap. Earn what you earn.
- Can I cancel?
- Anytime. Your accrued earnings still pay out on the next payout cycle.
- Does my whole school have to sign up, or just one person?
